Lamination is an essential finishing process for printing and packaging products. In this video, we compare two widely used lamination solutions: wet instant coating and BOPP pre-coated thermal lamination film.
What is Wet Instant Coating?
Wet coating means mixing liquid glue on site during production. It brings high VOC, messy workshop conditions and unstable lamination quality. Bubbles, wrinkles and delamination are common defects during mass production.
What is BOPP Pre-coated Thermal Lamination Film?
BOPP pre-coated film has hot melt adhesive pre-applied in our factory. No glue mixing is needed on your production line.
It creates a clean workshop environment with low VOC. The lamination result is stable and helps reduce reject rates. Operation is simple and improves your production efficiency.
We offer multiple surface finishes including glossy, matte, soft-touch and anti-scratch.
Compared with wet instant coating, BOPP pre-coated thermal film saves labor and reduces raw material waste for printing and packaging factories. It works well for folding cartons, labels and stickers.
We produce full-series BOPP thermal lamination films. Contact us if you need quotation.
